Privacy Policy

Hi folks and friends!

Here on The Becks Edit, I take your privacy very seriously. In order to be as transparent as possible, here are some details on how your information is used:

  • The Becks Edit is powered by the Explorer WordPress plan, meaning it uses a system called JetPack (don’t ask me what JetPack is, because even I’m not really sure!)
  • Data such as WordPress usernames, email addresses, and website URLs may be collected by this blog. I do not use any of this information other than to view and follow your blog and posts.
  • Other metric data is also collected such as: the number of page views, the number of post views, the links you have clicked on, the search terms you entered in order to find my blog/specific post (for SEO purposes – the optimisation process that allows me to tailor my content), as well as country of origin via your IP address (though this shows only as number of visitors from a specific country and doesn’t share who resides where). All of this information appears in my Stats section, and I do not do anything with it other than look at it to be nosey – which is around once a week!
  • Website cookies are also present in order to remember you and your site preferences. Though they only come into effect when you interact with certain elements of my blog such as URL and email, you can impose a restriction by viewing my site in ‘Incognito Mode’.
